Broadway Bakes

Thank you for your interest in BROADWAY BAKES, Schmackary’s annual charity event in support of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDSThis year, Broadway Bakes will be held May 27-31st and falls on our store’s 7-year anniversary! It’s guaranteed to be an incredible line-up of stars raising money for a great cause!

During Broadway Bakes, some of the biggest names on Broadway work behind the Schmackary’s counters raising money for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Half the proceeds from cookie sales and 100-percent of the tips generated while the Broadway stars are working at Schmackary’s goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. In past years, Schmackary’s Broadway Bakes event helped raise over $53,000 for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS helps ensure that the most vulnerable among us receive life-saving medication and health care, nutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance. Broadway Cares awards annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide and is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.
